Stamp collecting is a very popular hobby because it is both entertaining and educational. If you are interested in starting a stamp collection then you will need to think about how to store your stamps.

However you decide to store your stamps, make sure that they are kept in a dry room. If stamps get damp they may be ruined. Old albums which are left in lofts or garages may be in danger of getting damaged. It is probably best if you keep your stamps in the main body of your house.

Stamp Envelopes and Bags

Whilst you are gathering your stamps you may wish to use envelopes or plastic bags for storage. Label each envelope or bag with your chosen country or theme and then store any related stamps in that same storage container. Special stamp collecting envelopes are available from most stamp dealers.
